SCM Portal is a composite application using iSeries ILERPG for the transaction side, and Linux/Java for the reporting side so for implementation we use an IBM iSeries, and xSeries servers for implementation on the front end of the existing ERP system. With the serious reduction in hardware prices, this remains a very cost effective solution.
